Midnight Sin Release “Feed Me With Lies” Lyric Video

Midnight Sin have released a lyric video for the single “Feed Me With Lies”, from the Italian band’s upcoming debut album ‘Sex First’ — slated to be released on June 9th.

Is it worthwhile living for a few things: things called ‘sins’ and things performed at night — and almost always, strangely enough, these two things usually happen together. With their name, Midnight Sin cover both categories, with their music which can be defined as sleaze rock with influences which range from classic hard rock to AOR.

The intention of their songs is to have a big musical impact, but also to be captivating and catchy — the lyrics are always shocking and almost irreverent, typical of the street rock but with the energy and hedonism of hair metal. On June 9th their first record comes out — one that took over a years work passed trough live concerts, winnings, and some initial line-up changes, now solidified with Albert Fish (vocals), LeStar (lead guitar), Maurice Flee (rhythm guitar), Acey Guns (bass) and Dany Rake (drums).

Seventrain Release “Bittersweet Seduction” Music Video

Southern California rockers Seventrain, featuring members of Cage and 24-7 Spyz, have just released the official video for their new single “Bittersweet Seduction”.

Seventrain’s self-titled debut album was released in the US, Europe and Japan on February 18th, 2014 on So Cal Records/Alliance Entertainment and charted on the CMJ Top 40 Loud Rock charts at #36 during it’s first week to radio. The album is currently available for download on iTunes

Seventrain performed together for the first time in the fall of 2012 in San Diego, California at a memorial show for the late Vincent John Crudo (otherwise known as “Big Vinnie”), who was a respected local sound technician and bass player in the Southern California area. Guitarist Eric Horton, who had previous worldwide success with his former power-metal band Cage, assembled some admired local musicians to play a handful of cover songs at the memorial show.

Shortly after this performance, the guys decided to record an album of material that Horton and vocalist Jon Campos (Dive Bomber) had been working on. Horton recruited former 24-7 Spyz drummer Joel Maitoza, who respectively has appeared on 22 albums, to produce and play drums on the debut along with singer Campos, guitarist Jef Poremba (Kofi Baker, 6ONE9), and bassist Greg Rupp (My Middle Finger, 6ONE9), who appeared on the CD but was replaced by Steve “Dino” Andino (Tourniquet) shortly after the recording of the album.

Seventrain has recently been playing select dates with Michael Schenker, Black Star Riders, Skid Row and Pat Travers, before heading out on a US tour this summer.

Yngwie Malmsteen And Uli John Roth To Embark On ‘Guitar Gods’ Tour

Yngwie Malmsteen, former Scorpions member Uli John Roth, Gary Hoey and Guns N’ Roses’ Bumblefoot will begin a North American tour called ‘Guitar Gods’ in June.

Yngwie Malmsteen is one of the most technically accomplished guitarists of all time, rewriting the book on hard rock/heavy metal guitar. In addition to countless awards from music and instrument specific publications, none other than TIME Magazine hailed him as one of the ten greatest electric guitarists.

2013 was a banner year for Malmsteen, as he released his bestselling autobiography ‘Relentless’ which coincided with a wildly successful tour that played to full houses all over the world. The only way he could top that in 2014 was to hand pick an all-star lineup of Guitar Gods to share the stage with him on a magical full North American tour.

“Fans can expect the unexpected,” Malmsteen said regarding his live shows. “I raise the bar with every performance I do and this tour will be no different.”

Held in the highest regard in his own right, Uli Jon Roth brings the very special 40th Anniversary Scorpions set that has been playing to frenzied audiences in Europe to North America, embracing his storied history with the band and digging deep into their catalog for this tour.

Acclaimed for his accomplishments for perfecting his playing in multiple genres (rock, blues, surf) and respected by both fans and peers alike, Gary Hoey performs his radio hits such as the Billboard Top 5 smash “Hocus Pocus” along with other favorites.

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Bumbleoot (as seen in the just released DVD ‘Appetite For Democracy’ which documents the band’s Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel residency) embarks on his first solo tour, playing songs from his entire critically praised recorded history.
