Alongside their fast-selling string of UK dates with Europe and FM this April that already includes sold out shows in Newcastle and Bristol, Foreigner today add a special ‘An Evening With Foreigner: Unplugged’ show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London on Saturday 12th April.

A Q&A session with the band, hosted by Team Rock’s Kylie Olsson (presenter of The AOR Magazine Show), will also take place on the night with fans invited to submit questions.

Tickets are on general sale, priced £35 (subject to per-ticket charge plus order processing fee) from http://www.livenation.co.uk or http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

The announcement of ‘An Evening With Foreigner: Unplugged’ show, ties in with the release of the band’s new album ‘I Want To Know What Love Is – The Ballads’.

The album features 14 of Foreigner’s best and most timeless ballads, previously never released on one album. ‘I Want To Know What Love Is – The Ballads’ will be available in both CD, and 2CD Special Edition-digipak formats, with 200 exclusive signed copies available to purchase at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire show.

Featuring the UK No. 1 hit, ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ originally released on 1984’s multi platinum album Agent Provocateur, the album also includes thirteen songs including classic hits such as ‘Waiting For A Girl Like You’ and ‘Long, Long Way From Home’from 1977’s self-titled debut album.

Mick Jones’s writing skills are evident in the modern masterpieces from their most recent albums Can’t Slow Down and Acoustique, all of which are state of the art new recordings featuring Foreigner lead singer Kelly Hansen.

The Special Edition release is a must-have for all the die-hard Foreigner fans. Produced by noted Foreigner bass guitarist, Jeff Pilson, the bonus disc contains previously unreleased performances of all the hits and fan favourites, recorded from an acoustic show for the German radio station SWR1 in July 2013.
